In June 2013, the number of private housing units released for sale increased by 16.2% month-on-month (mom) from May 2013 to 1,768 units. A healthy and liquid market was further shown through the even greater growth in the primary market transactions. Residential property sales volume (excluding EC) in the primary market grew by 23.8% mom to 1,806 units. The overall take-up rate (the ration of the numbers of units sold over the number of units launched in the month) increased from 95.9% in May 2013 to 102.1% in June 2013.
